On Tuesday 5th March 2013 Jim Wingate, a well-known storyteller from Wales, visited the NMS Neulengbach on his tour through Austria and Germany. He did six story telling units with all of our students from different classes and grades adjusting each session to the learning levels of his audience. The girls and boys of all age groups got carried away by his lively performance. We spent a delightful hour with ghosts, wolves, trolls, goats, poor fishermen and their sons, kings and their daughters and many more figures from fairy tales, folk stories and sketches. Jim made us laugh, sing, move and talk along with him. In a very spontaneous and natural way the students could get a feel for the language and find out that ENGLISH IS FUN!
