On Tuesday, February 21st Vienna’s English Theatre presented “Rob and the Hoodies” at NMS Neulengbach.
The legend of Robin Hood was transferred to present Nottingham where Rob Loxby, a schoolboy, has a lot of troubles with the street gang “the Hoodies”. Moreover, Rob has written a play about Robin Hood, the English folk hero for the school performance.
Thus, the students learned a lot about this heroic outlaw. Some kids even got the opportunity to join the actors on stage and had a lot of fun as “Merry Men”. The play deals with bullying and the classical gender roles in a humorous and vivid way.
A brilliant performance was given by the four young actors and the audience applauded enthusiastically.
